Sage Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing and commercializing novel medicines to transform the lives of patients with life-altering central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Our lead development candidate, brexanolone, is currently in development for Post-Partum Depression (PPD), and has the potential to be the first treatment to receive FDA approval specifically for PPD. Sage is planning to submit to FDA for regulatory approval in 2018, and as such we are building out our commercial capabilities in anticipation of potential launch for brexanolone.
As part of the build-out of our marketing team, we seek an Associate Director to lead our brand medical education. This includes our peer-to-peer educational programs (ie Speaker Bureau, Congress symposia) as well as disease awareness initiatives for health care professionals. Given that there are no currently approved treatments for PPD, this position offers a rare opportunity to help create and build from the ground up.

The Associate Director, Brand Medical Education, will lead the development of US marketing strategy and initiatives for peer to peer education as well as HCP-focused PPD disease state education. Areas of focus may include one or more of the following areas: branded speaker bureau, peer-to-peer educational symposia at congresses, congress strategy and unbranded disease state education. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently, think strategically, and collaborate seamlessly to accomplish complex deliverables.
