Title: Associate Director, Patient Services Marketing

Reports to: Vice President, Marketing

General Scope and Summary

Sage Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company committed to discovering, developing and commercializing novel medicines to transform the lives of patients with life-altering central nervous system (CNS) disorders. Our lead development candidate, brexanolone, is currently in development for Post-Partum Depression (PPD), and has the potential to be the first treatment to receive FDA approval specifically for PPD. Sage is planning to submit to FDA for regulatory approval in 2018, and as such we are building out our commercial capabilities in anticipation of potential launch for brexanolone.

As part of the build-out of our marketing team, we seek an Associate Director to lead the marketing for our patient support team and program. Patients who are prescribed brexanolone will be supported by a robust patient services program, to assist them throughout their patient journey. The patient support team and programs will be a critical part of our overall strategy with brexanolone. Because we are currently designing and building our patient services support strategy and model, the Associate Director, Patient Support Marketing will have the chance to help shape our strategic direction. This role offers a rare opportunity to help create and build from the ground up.

Sage matches its innovative approach to drug development with a positive, fun and engaging culture. We are a values-based company; we strive to imbue these values in the organization we are building.
