Overview

Position Summary

This internship will offer experience in applying HEOR knowledge in a pharmaceutical/biotech industry setting, by contributing observational research, developing economic model design, project management, developing internal/external communication tools for HEOR findings and contributing to the HEOR/market access strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in generating evidence using real-world data, including retrospective claims databases and prospective data collection, to support product launch
  • Gain experience in designing, developing and communicating health economic models
  • Conduct literature review to evaluate input for economic modeling, identify evidence gap and develop evidence generation plan
  • Assist HEOR team members to execute projects
  • Gain knowledge of US and European reimbursement systems and contribute to HTA dosser preparation

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a PhD/MPH/MS in health services research, epidemiology, health economics, public health, psychology, statistics, or public policy disciplines at an accredited university
  • Must have completed at least 1-2 years coursework
  • Prior research experience working on HEOR projects strongly preferred
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and economic modeling skills
  • Strong proficiency in SAS preferred
  • Prior publication record preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
